This is my first official update for Dreamforce. Woot. No, but seriously, the drive wasn’t that bad. I actually got here faster than I do on a Saturday. I was shocked. And I stopped for McDonald’s (since Starbucks was closed).
ATTENTION ALL FRIENDS IN SAN FRANCISCO: I will be available to chill after 9p tonight. Wanna meet up? I’m off Mission St./Taylor and this parking garage has 24 hour access. Let’s run this town.
Schedule: breakfast with the team, Dreamforce (keynote + sessions), dinner with our rep, then Metallica concert held by the Salesforce crew. Pretty exciting stuff. I hope. I really want Starbucks, but it’s all the way on the other side of the lobby and I just can’t bring myself to get up and move. I’m starting to regret having worn these boots; they’re half a size too small, and once I get to steppin’, my feet are gonna swell and these shoes will be officially TOO small.
The air’s a bit chilly out here, and I’m starting to wonder if I should ask the bell desk for my suitcase back so I can grab my fancy jacket. Part of me doesn’t want to because I’m sure it’ll be overly warm in the Moscone Center will all those people and because I really don’t feel like carrying that thing around, should that be the case. Oh well. My simple H&M sweater will just have to do. I’ll post a pic of my outfit later. I’m quite proud of it. I’m so professional looking! Then you glance at my Pacman nails and realize, hey, maybe she’s chill! And then you find out I am and it’s like whoa…
I need more sleep. I better grab some coffee before I crash. This party bus can’t stop for another 13 hours.
